Tuition and Fees

A compendium of tuition and fees for day and evening undergraduate and graduate students. Costs are noted for both in-state residents and out-of-state students.

Payment Plan

Students and families may choose to make semester payments via the BSU Student Payment Plan. This web-based plan enables you to make interest-free monthly installments.

Refund Policies

Refund policies for day students withdrawing from the university. This information reflects the percentage of tuition and fees the student will be charged dependent on the official withdrawal date.

The agreement informs students of the financial responsibilities associated with enrolling for classes and explains the potential consequences that may be taken if a student fails to meet those obligations. The agreement must be completed every semester.

Health Insurance

Massachusetts law C.15A.s.18 requires all registered students taking nine or more undergraduate credits or seven or more graduate credits to have comparable health insurance.  Students are billed for insurance via eBill and must waive or enroll in the student health insurance every year by the bill due date.

IRS Form 1098-T

In January each year Bridgewater State University issues a Form 1098-T to each qualifying student indicating the amount paid for Qualified Tuition and related expenses during the previous calendar year, along with additional required information.

Military Benefits

Each semester students must fill out the Military Education Benefits Form to acknowledge use of military benefits.
