Mastering the Digital Domain

In the Information Age, there is perhaps no academic discipline as broadly applicable or essential to the world’s economies – and influential to how people live, play and work – than Computer Science. At Bridgewater, students in the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree program study computer theory, ethical and technological issues, user interface requirements and the development, programming and design of hardware platforms and software applications. We also offer a graduate-level program in Computer Science (MS).

With a degree in Computer Science, students will be prepared to apply their skills and knowledge to the design, implementation and evaluation of computer-based systems in virtually any industry, both private and public sector. We offer three labs – including one focused on robotics and electronics – that contain state-of-the-art equipment, providing students with extraordinary hands-on opportunities to put theory into practice.

NSF grant allows students to travel abroad for research

Students in Dr. Ward Heilman's graduate cryptography class create projects that apply encryption to every day life.

A federal grant will support graduate fellowships in computer science to meet workforce needs.
